From darkness, comes light and pixels. And amongst the infinite algorithms that light displays into our perception, Brian Pollett’s art is also manipulated into existence. Perhaps Brian’s most notable manipulations of light are achieved by simulating real time sensory data from music and social interactions onto a virtual canvas. A creative process with an outcome regarded by patrons as “Psychedelic Highways”, “Faux Fractals”, ” and “Psyche-digital Still Lives”

In an experiment titled “The Binge Project” Brian, created a number of portraits based on a particular type of intoxicant, here you can see each of the illustrations. You can visit his website for more hyper-real art.
