Your life-story and relationship with your work
Tell us a little about you and your work:There is so much to tell… 2001 I start to listen to psychedelic trance and Goa music. 2006 my very good friends Milan and Branko learned me how to start mixing tracks on players. I instantly fall in love doing this, and I will never forget my first party. It was open air on a beautiful mountain in Serbia, 150 people in front of me. I was playing Goa set.. And felt deeply so special magical vibe who told me to continue this and go deeper, it filled me on any possible positive way… A couple of years I was playing as a DJ in home town, and in Serbia, thinking all the time how to make my own sound. In 2009 Ascent project was born, and after a lot of effort and hard work, sleepless night I make my first release for Goa Records I called ‘ I Will Fly Again” 6 tracks, a mini album… Feedback was outstanding, which made me keep going and making music further. After successful debut album released in 2013 “Secret Place” on Ovnimoon records, my project has grown, and I start releasing my music on several labels such as Iono records, Tesseract Studio, Dacru Records, Phoenix Groove and more… In 2014 I released a second full-length album I called ‘Nature Creations’ which contributed instant global recognition and securing me performances at many Festivals and parties all around Europe and Asia. At the beginning of 2016, I Join BMSS Records family, and continue my work there, playing my music around with Armin Boom Shankar and label family members at many festivals and parties .. Beautiful period of my life! I made a pause with traveling, focusing on my music in peaceful forests of Serbia, where I leave and where my studio is. This year I opened a Record label with my wife and family we called ‘Progg ‘N’ Roll’ Records. We are so happy with the feedback and support from the people, we prepare so many surprises and releases for 2019. Everything flows perfectly!
Currently what projects are you working on? And what future plans have you chalked out for yourself?:
As always, because I never stop making music I am working on several projects. Ovnimoon Project from Chile and I are planning to make another full-length album with our project The Key! In the same time, I am making an ambient album with my brother Argus for Altar Records. I have also project with my lovely wife Mina we called ‘South Wind’. It’s a Progressive House music with trance and techno elements. We are preparing some new songs for Bonzai Progressive Recordings and our home label as well… And of course… I am making Ascent tracks further.. And I will have few Ep’s in 2019 together with some amazing artists in collaboration. So plans are amazing and I am full of inspiration which makes me so happy!
You obviously love what you do…but what do you love the most about your work?:
Big love and passion give me strength and power to do everything I do. Love is the strongest weapon in the world, and I love so much what I do, I love music and my life is wonderful, I am so thankful to the universe for this magical gift. The most I love about everything is to make a new song. That moment when I am producing music… Is indescribable beautiful.
What is your second love? What’s the alternative career path you would have travelled if you were not on the one you are right now?:
I love so many stuff in my life… First of all, spending time with my family… They are all musicians and great persons, I always had huge support from my family, and that is amazing to have. I love nature, fishing… Honestly, I don’t know who I would be without music… And I can not answer that question. I found my self in music as a very young boy, so I never had chances or time to think about something else… I like wood… Maybe, just maybe in a case, I am not a musician I would like to be a carpenter .. I think That would also make me happy on some way..
Share your experiences and your characteristics/personality
Everybody’s got favourites…so what’s your favourite work/piece among everything that you’ve designed/produced/dj-ed/created? (Link us up!):Of course, I love my old work, every time I hear the old songs, reminds me of some nice periods of my life… Learning and improving myself as a music producer. But definitely, my favorite work is my new song ‘Mrak’ I recently released on BMSS records family. There I felt finally I made what I wanted to Achieve for years.

Ovnimoon – Learning, Astral Projection – No One Ever Dreams, Burn In Noise – Ancient Knowledge, E-Mantra – Nemesis Album… I love Spirit Architect Project, Egorythmia and many many more.. So many music I love on the scene and listening still of course
When have you been most satisfied in your life? Care to share one of your happiest memories?:
Today. I found love of my life, beautiful person, my soul mate and wife Mina who fill and color my life in any possible way.. She gives me so much in life, and our mutual understanding is beyond descriptive… Now I have everything I wanted to have in my life.
Into the time machine again. What do you miss about being a kid?:
Only that super feeling where you don’t think about reality and life obligations 😉 My childhood was very nice, so many nice memories… Thanks to Mushroom Magazine for support, it was a pleasure to share my thoughts, news and my life with you Hugs to the world
