The Burning Mountain is an alternative festival in the middle of the beautiful Swiss Alps. Every year we offer a selection of the world's best psytrance DJs, an impressive light show and lots of decoration, a large market area, a wonderful chillout area and many workshops to participate in!

The Festival on the map

The goal of the Festival is all about community and culture. It’s an open canvas where you can leave your marks. It’s a social survival camp. As our social life is transforming more and more into a digital way, we want to be able to connect and exchange and interact “offline” with each other.

Burning Mountain Festival 2018: Expressing the Soul

In June 2018 we gather in the magic surroundings of the Swiss Alps, the famous Engadin Valley and the village Zernez to combine art and music, community and creativity.

Our unique location lies in the Engadin Valley, one of the highest inhabited valleys of Europe. It’s next to the River Inn and surrounded with trees.

The Burning Mountain Festival is all set to welcome trancers from all over the globe from 25th June to 28th June, 2015. The festival grounds are located in Zernez, Switzerland, which is reputed to be one of the most beautiful locales in the country. Zernez is situated at the very border of the Swiss national park and it has the most jaw-dropping views of pure untouched nature.

The line-up features a range of top international Artists and Dj’s who will be belting out wicked tunes to keep your feet stomping non-stop. Check out the entire line-up below.

Besides the music, there are plenty of skilled jugglers, fire-jugglers, poi spinners, dancers, magic shows, etc to keep you occupied and mesmerized. Lover’s of art, can spend time travelling through the magnificent art installations, as well as gaze in awe at the deco created by talented teams.

There’s a chilled out zone, wherein you can lie in beautiful hammocks, sip on simmering pots of chai, pull on your shisha whilst listening to the chill out tunes belted out by the Dj’s.

There’ll be a ton of workshops and stimulating talks on a wide range of subjects; let go of all tensions by attending Yoga classes held by professional teachers, participate in Land Art sessions where you’ll be taught how to organize bits of nature into fabulous works of art, learn the techniques of fire-juggling, turn yourself into a canvas with the Body-Art session, find some inner peace by indulging in some Tai-Chi, or awaken your higher self via the sessions held by Cosmic Diva.
