During one week a “lakeside camp for the psychedelic family” evolves into a buzzing Trance festival – on one of the best open air locations of the scene.
New Healing Festival 2016: What to expect
The feedback during the last two editions of New Healing was just great and made the festival a firmly established event of the German open air season within no time. One of the most important reasons is certainly its unique approach. The promoters speak of a „lakeside camp for the psychedelic family“ rather than a music festival. New Healing starts on Monday already – with the “Healing Days”. Until Friday the gathering offers a multi-faceted programme with more than 100 concerts, lectures, workshops and lots and lots of interaction. It‘s all about music, dance, movement, creative activities in groups and individual practice. For instance, there‘s Kundalini yoga, Qigong, Tai Chi, drum circles, quantum healing, shamanism, botany, arts & crafts, body painting, and more.
New Healing Festival 2016: From psychedelic family to Trance festival
On Friday this gathering of the psychedelic family turns into a proper Trance festival, without losing its unique approach: “Electronic Music meets Natural Vibrations” is the motto of the “Healing Weekend”. The team presents a magic mix of handmade and electronic music, including a fair bit of Ambient and Chill Out, but of course also a solid dose of Trance. The music programme looks excellent. Astrix, Tristan, Spirit Architect, Hynocoustics, Antaro, Gaby, Champa, Bim and Cosmic Vibration will make the dance floor quake with their compelling beats, while Gabriel Le Mar, Mixmaster Morris and Suduaya send your mind on a journey with exquisite space sounds from Chill Out to Downtempo, from Dub and Ambient.
New Healing Festival 2016: Astrix and Tristan
These guys know how to make your mind drift away into the realm of the Inner World like few others: Both Tristan and Astrix are among the most important pioneers of Psytrance, their unique blends of rhythm and sound are an essential part of 21st century Trance dance culture. That said, their sets at New Healing will probably become two genuine highlights!
