Israel’s ever-growing psytrance scene is very diverse- from outdoor to indoor, from Progressive to Full On, Goa and dark, from underground to massive one day raves and psychedelic festivals – Israel has it all! The Israeli crowd is known for its endless energies, creating massive crazy vibe. Ask any DJ you want, they all say that there’s something total and very dedicated in the parties here. Not many people come from overseas to experience the Israeli scene, as it is less accessible, but those who do, never forget the adventure.

These are very special events that resemble nothing else in the world. Groove Attack are another big and established party organization that has few big outdoor events with huge line-ups spread across the year, like Neverland, Satya Festival and this year made a big TIP Festival. There’s the historic cities of Jerusalem, Nazareth and Safed; Haifa, the relaxed mountain city surrounded by beaches, Beach town Eilat on the Red Sea, and of course nightlife capital, Tel Aviv. His/Her role in the Psytrance community:
DJ, producer, party organizer and owner of Guru Temple Psytrance music production school
Info about the author:
I am DARWISH, DJ, producer, party organizer and owner of Guru Temple Psytrance music production school together with my partner DJ Cholo. I have been breathing the psytrance culture in Israel for over 15 years now, producing and playing in parties all over Israel and abroad 3-6 gigs a week usually. Ever since the early days of the scene, back in the 90`s, I have always liked the tribal feeling in the Israeli scene. My brother Itzik, who passed away 12 years ago, and I started arranging underground parties, mainly in the desert, in the late 90`s, creating the one of the first Israeli trance tribes, with amazing crowd that followed us to each party we made.
It has to be psychedelic and tribal and tell a story. All the rest is just words.
