Question:What is NBOMe? Are the effects similar to LSD?
NBOMe, also known as 25I-NBOMe or 2C-I-NBOMe (among other names), is a derivative of the substituted phenethylamine psychedelic 2C-I, and was discovered in 2003 by Ralf Heim at the Free University of Berlin.
The effects are indeed comparable to LSD, and is it sometimes sold as an LSD or 2C-I substitute.
Be careful though! As there hasn’t been a lot of research on this relatively new substance, dosage may be hard to estimate.
Negative effects from too high a dose can include heart palpitations, high blood pressure and possibly seizures.
Might be a good idea to have any LSD you get your hands on tested, ‘tis better to be safe than sorry…
