He was born in the deepness of the indian ocean. He start’s mixing with the the tender age of 13 years and spinning the vinyl wheels. He had his first contact with psychedelic dance music in 1993 at the legendary VooV Experience Festival, the mother of all Goa open air events outside india…

Today Vikash is based in hamburg and played on a lot of indoor partys and open-air festivals national and international.

He played alongside renowned acts like Atmos, Avalon, Laughing Buddha, Tristan, Side Effects, Ital, Sonic Species Burn in Noise, Zen Mechanics, Ace Ventura, Astrix, Dick Trevor, X-Dream, Electric Universe, KoxBox, Juno Reactor, Man with no Name, Sun Project, Etnica, Vibrasphere, Eat Static, and Ajja, to name some few…

His experience, wisdom and practical knowledge to psychedelic trance, is marked and tactile, hear, see and verify his DJ set’s or his own productions and you know why the dance floor & party crowd quakes…. Enough words, now it’s time for listen, dancing and enjoying… 🙂

Your life-story and relationship with your work

Currently what projects are you working on? And what future plans have you chalked out for yourself?:
I am working on the foundation of my own label, friendly music records, which will be published in february 2017. I am the founder of the party organizer crew friendly team we had a lot of successfully events the party season call Friendly Present’s… And I am co-founder of the event organizer PSY REBEL CREW our debut was the legendary “New Year’s Psy Rebellion” 2016/2017 was organized by Psy Rebel Crew… With my new team the psy rebel crew, I organize the new Friday club in the “Umdenkbar” in Hamburg, every 2nd Friday. I am a DJ and producer of pychedelic music and I organize the shuttle service to the Psy-Fi Festival 2017 from germany to Holland

What influenced you to get into your field?:
The VooV Experience 1993 and Antaro & Scotty, the spirit zone community…

As an artist, what role do you think you play in society?:
Entertainment, to make the people happy and give a lot’s love and light to the crowd.

You obviously love what you do…but what do you love the most about your work?:
I love the feedback of the dancing people… And i love that i can play my favorite music and can imagine my own productions… I am a remote controller fpr the dancefloor…

Everybody has to start somewhere, usually at the bottom of the ladder, either as the bus-boy or the shoe-shiner. What was the very first job you had?:
I was a merchant for cosmetics and body care… 😀

Share your experiences and your characteristics/personality

Sometimes life can be quite a – insert word that rhymes with witch. Which phase was the hardest/scariest in your life?:
The hardest time in my life was when my doctor told me the diagnosis cancer and the time I started with the chemotherapy … And, of course, the rehabilitation phase …

Any embarrassing moments? Yes, you’d hate to disclose your secrets but we’d love to hear.:
Yes at one of my appearance is the soundsystem failed, maybe for 45 minutes and I stood like an jerk on the stage and I was very ashamed, although that was not my fault … But still embarrassed…

When have you been most satisfied in your life? Care to share one of your happiest memories?:
To play the first time a 2 hour set for 10 000 peoples on the floor, what a amazing feel’s and i become so much energy from all the Party Folk, nothing can top that feeling…

Knock, knock, we want to hear a good joke.:
Ok: A german, a mauritian and an american, get the offer, one of you can fly to the mars, but only one way ticket, the journey takes so a long time that there is no return. And the traveler has one wish for free. The American wants five million dollars for his family on the earth, if him was the one to make the mars expedition. The Mauritian whispered to the German: I will be take 15 million dollar, I give the American his 5Millionen dollar so that he flies to Mars… and the rest, we share both… Hahahaha 😉

Flash-forward in time. You are now really old. What would you tell your children/loved ones?:
I would tell them my experiences as a dj…What else…? 😉

Excessive chopping dulls the axe. Time-outs are a must. What do you do when you take time off from creating? Got any hobbies?:
No, strictly all about Goa and psytrance… That’s it…

How do you connect to the spiritual side of yourself?:
Good music, weed, meditation and good organic food…

Your relationship with psychedelics

Creativity and psychedelics work together. Do you agree? Why/Why not?:
Yeah that’s the truth, i agree, creativity and psychedelics work together, but hard work and psychedelics, do not fit together for me…

Are you pro-weed culture? Why do you think the majority of the population goes against the green?:
I do not know, but I know all the plants come from mother earth and no plant can be illegal…

Any ideas to rectify this mindset?:
Yes, consumes more weed :-D….

Advice for the readers and fans

At the end of the ride, everyone’s looking for some form of success (tangible or not), what does success mean to you?:
Success means for me that I come closer tomy dream’s and target’s…
