Demoniac Insomniac is Boris Kirov from Macedonia, owner of Active Meditation Music.
He started to freak out and make music in 2004. He is a music shaman, exploring madness, from heaven to hell, from sanity to insanity, playing long and powerfull sets ranging from 150 up to 200 Bpm.
His music is often being played by many Dj’s all around the world, including Goa Gil, Dj Iguana, Dj Mutaro, Djane Moksha and many others.

Your life-story and relationship with your work
Tell us a little about you and your work:
I am making music under the name of Demoniac Insomniac & a side project with a friend called Cosmos Disorder. I am also a label owner of the record label called Active Meditation Music! I am playing 12 – 24 hours marathon sets in the spirit of Active Meditation!
Currently what projects are you working on? And what future plans have you chalked out for yourself?:
I am releasing my new compilation VA – Spiritual Science 2 “Back To The Mothership” for my record label – Active Meditation Music. I am also finishing my 2nd album… Gonna make a big tour from September to June presenting my new compilation, gonna play in countries like: Mexico, Brazil, Guatemala, India, Japan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Singapore, Malaysia etc… It’s a busy schedule this year!
You obviously love what you do…but what do you love the most about your work?:
I love traveling and learning about other cultures, i want to understand and accept the cultures that are totaly diffrent than the culture i come from… Only when we accept the diffrences between us, peace comes within us.
Creating on a regular basis can be a bloody tough job, so what motivates you to press yourself into the workstation every single day?:
Yes, traveling and making art can be difficult, but i try to give myself a few hours in the studio whenever i can.
What is your second love? What’s the alternative career path you would have travelled if you were not on the one you are right now?:
I am a member of the older Yoga – Society in the world called ” Juna Akhara” My guru is Shri Maharaj Mangalanand Puri aka to the Psychedelic Family as Goa Gil. I love spending time in India with my gurus who take me to the path of love & light! Om Namah Shivaya! Hara Hara Mahadeva!

When have you been most satisfied in your life? Care to share one of your happiest memories?:
After i released my debut album back in 2012, i had a chance to visit places like India & Japan, i had some of the most crazyest expiriences of my life there, and i still enjoying visiting those places!

What’s the last movie/T.V show you saw or book/magazine you read?:
The dictionary of the Khazars is a great book, i recommend it for all psy people to read it! I dont watch too much TV, i prefer to choose what i consume in my brain. Rick & Morthy is an excelent show btw..

Your opinions and viewpoints
How do you connect to the spiritual side of yourself?:
I am doing pranayama and meditation every day, this techniques have been given to mankind by Shiva many years ago, because of this techniques our specie survive until today and it is as it is, Yoga is the basis of human evolution and existence!
Your relationship with psychedelics
Any work/pieces that were inspired by entheogens?:
I am amazed by the Dmt molecule and what it does in the music. My track “Agni Parthene” has been written after smoking Changa, also i have other tracks influenced by diffrent kind of substances. But i think i had the best moments of realisation and writing music when i was sober, right after meditation. We have to realise that the substanes we take are external, from diffrent plants. The best drug is the one we produce ourself in our body, and the best Dmt is the one produced in the pineal gland of an awakened man!
Are you pro-weed culture? Why do you think the majority of the population goes against the green?:
Diffrent cultues have diffrent plants they worship, in this moment christianity and their red wine is the most famous one, and the most acceptable one, but we all know the history of alchohol in the USA and other places, i believe it will be the same with Marijuana & other plants, is just a matter of time when we accept nature in our bodies. Marijuana is one of the most dangerous killers of stress, and stress is the number one cause of all deseases. Marijuana is love
Advice for the readers and fans
At the end of the ride, everyone’s looking for some form of success (tangible or not), what does success mean to you?:
Liberation of the cycle of birth and escape from the material body, this is the number one success among all. I dont want to be famour and rich, i want to live in peace, give love to everything around me and help people to catch a higher frequency in their life, success is a thing of the unity, not the separation of men…
