Rogério was born in 1988 in Portugal. He started with piano lessons when he was 8 years old and began his musical career at the age of 14, after two years of friends parties when he started to mix different types of music.

That phase had a short duration, 3 years later he was to his first psychedelic trance party, where he discovered a completely new and fantastic world. So, he change is musical style and started to play Psychedelic Trance.

After improve some production skills Rogério creates a project called Spectral Vibration.

Spectral Vibration is a Progressive Psytrance project that was created with the mission to exploring positive emotions in the subconscious of everyone.

Your life-story and relationship with your work

Tell us a little about you and your work:
I’m just a normal person trying to show my emotions through music.

Currently what projects are you working on? And what future plans have you chalked out for yourself?:
I am currently focused on Spectral Vibration project. My plans for the future are playing my music for as many people as possible, working with other producers and mainly work hard to achieve exceptional quality in my productions.

What influenced you to get into your field?:
I think everything that surrounded me or surrounds me currently has an influence. Always heard a bit of all styles of music since I know myself. But electronic music shouted louder at the beginning of the XXI century.

You obviously love what you do…but what do you love the most about your work?:
The creativity and freedom. It is true that ever “I bumped my head” several times but the pleasure of doing something that I love, the way I want without being forced to follow a pattern is rewarding.

What is your second love? What’s the alternative career path you would have travelled if you were not on the one you are right now?:
Probably Designer. I really like graphic design.

No man is an island’- they say, in this light, what quality do you admire the most in others?:
Humble it is perhaps the quality which stands out more to me.

Sometimes life can be quite a – insert word that rhymes with witch. Which phase was the hardest/scariest in your life?:
Word…Bitch?! Just kidding. For me it is the phase that lasts for six years. Working in full time job that I do not like at all but because it has to be and there are bills at the end of the month. They must be paid somehow…

Name a few of your all time favourite tracks. (From other artists if you are producer).:
They are so many! Echomen – Perpetual (Symphonix Rmx) for sure is the track that stands out to me.

When have you been most satisfied in your life? Care to share one of your happiest memories?:
The first time I played my project live in January, 2014 in Bonn (Cologne), Germany.

There’s a book on the shelf. It’s your autobiography. What does the title say?:
Dream Catcher.

Into the time machine again. What do you miss about being a kid?:
Freedom.

Excessive chopping dulls the axe. Time-outs are a must. What do you do when you take time off from creating? Got any hobbies?:
Read; Swimming; Walk with no destination.

Movie: Requiem for a dream (That’s the movie I watched more times since he got out). TV Show: Breaking Bad (Last Season). Book: Steve Jobs (Official Biography). Magazine: Mushroom Magazine.

I don’t know but I think perhaps the power of wisdom.
