It‘s not all peaches and cream in this world: Organisms are genetically modified, the oceans are overfished, and bees disappear. Not good at all. But hey: We are also fed up with the „It‘s all going down the tubes“ talk out there. Because it isn‘t. Think about all the amazing festivals we‘ve seen this summer, think about the amount of fantastic music, arts and intellectual ideas around us. Sure, 10 years ago the scene has been blooming and booming, as well. However, it‘s never been as colourful as today. That‘s why we will crank up the music even louder, why we will party even harder.
First of all, mushroom will grow from A6 to A5 format. That‘s double the size, and that means twice as much space for new ideas and fresh content, for inspiration and entertainment. We clearly understand that Social Media has profoundly changed the way in which we perceive information. We will adapt to this change – by keeping up our intense online activity, but also by introducing new forms of content and a new reading experience. At the same time we don‘t want to produce a print-out version of Facebook. No, we want to focus on the qualities that still make a printed magazine one-of-a-kind. Adapting to the multidimensional beauty our scene has grown into, we also want to introduce and expand new fields of interest. Spirituality, sustainability and scene activism are just some keywords. Enjoy your last mushroom… and be prepared for the all-new experience.
