About Painkiller
Painkiller is the awesome powered musical project by Roy Engel.
He begun his musical career at a young age studying music, playing piano and drums experiencing rock’n roll adventures. With the rise of electronic music in the 90s he got really inspired and started to develop electronic beats.
Along the years Roy experienced different styles of electronic music and collaborated with many artists and friends around the world.
Painkiller’s tracks provide sharp edition of computer technologies,
tight mixing, dynamic grooves and fat bass lines. You can recognize musical elements connecting the trance music of today with instrumental and classic music from different times such as Opera, Flamenco, Tango, Samba, Rockn’Roll and more. Active for over a decade, Painkiller holds a truly impressive catalog of excellent releases featuring 4 full length studio albums, 3 Various Artist albums compiled by him and numerous tracks release in compilation releases and EP’s.
Roy also runs a successful collaboration with fellow producer BLiSS under the known alias ‘A-Team’. Based in sunny Barcelona, Spain, Roy is also a partner and A&R of internationally acclaimed Nutek Records, known for its authentic releases spanning over 8 years.
