Why are DJs always so pissed when I ask them to play a particular track?
You have to understand that DJs are artists, not service providers. They spent a minimum of 10 years listening to all the music on this planet, so they just know what’s best. If you don’t agree, you just have a bad taste, or simply no idea. Or you need another 1 or 2 years to get it. Just like Jazz, that’s old people music, you need to be mature to really understand it. If you don’t like it, you’re not enlightened enough, it’s simple as that.
