It’s the symbiosis of moving melancholy and driving basses combined with the hard headed touch you recognizes Saltaux and yet discover him again in each set.
His carrier starts at the 90’s and through the steadily visit of the club „Ultraschall 1“ in Munich inspired by Sets of „Surgeon, Jeff Mills, Sven Väth & Bandulu“ he found his own specific way of music pretty soon.
By its own mélange of impulsive Twilight Sounds what makes Saltaux not only rock the residences in Munich, but meanwhile is known and recognized far beyond the German borders. Since the very beginning Saltaux remained true to his very experimental style. He refines it, combines it with other styles and eventually designs his own mixture of Morning and Twilight Sound.
Becoming acquainted with Wolfgang Drozczack in 2005, a procreative friendship was born and two performances at Radio Quintessenz followed. Finally resulting in a residency. In 2007 he became resident in the Munich Strobe – Club, followed by his own Events named „Tanzdrang Projekt“.
When he withdraw in 2008 from the Munich Techno and Minimal Techno – Scene he turned his passion towards the Psytrance and the psychedelic sounds. This extended spectrum and dedication is the real birth of Saltaux who is now not only working as a DJ but also started his own live project.
In 2008 he joined the Munich based label Spontaneous Aerobics Records and in
2009 he became part of the BMSS family, where he is working right now.
